This is a Wonderful William Terry Bear made c.1915 and is 24" tall and comes with some provenance and a photo of him with his original owner who was called Christine Schaefer who lived in Brighton Road, South Croydon and the picture was taken in 1921 and is an actual photo or Christine with Edward the bear. He is a little dusty from years of storage but all his joints work well and his mohair has a good cover with no large bald patches. He is all original from his cotton pads to his huge glass eyes. All his nose/mouth/claw stitching seem also to be his factory originals. He even gives a growl occasionally. A really wonderful bear.
