This is 'Sox' and he is a charming 1930's bear made by the German company Schuco we believe. He is called Sox because he has a war injury to one arm and it was covered with old socks. He is a real character and his hand pads and one foot pad have also been covered with old sock where they must have worn through. He has a small hole near his hump. His left arm was damaged in the War and so it was covered along with his pads. His joints work well and he is 22" tall. We love his glass eyes and the bright gold colour of his mohair.
